Phoenix Academy, like all charities, relies heavily on donations to help achieve its mission to create these life changing opportunities. With your support, we can continue to help underprivileged teenagers in Africa gain student athlete - scholarships to study and play football abroad and/or gain them trials at professional clubs around the world.

There are 30 teenagers living at the academy’s campus in Ghana, which is the maximum number the current campus is able to house. These teenagers come from poverty backgrounds where sadly many of their family’s struggle to provide even one meal a day. At the academy we ensure they have three meals a day, a clean bed to sleep in and support their educational and football abilities. However, our mission to changing the lives does not stop at the 30 teenagers on campus, we also organise two annual showcases events each year and invite over 100 teenagers from across Africa to come and play football in front of coaches from America, England and club scouts worldwide, with the aim of gaining as many opportunities for the teenagers playing as possible.

Annual Showcase Event

In May 2022, the Academy will be hosting its 4th Annual showcase event in Accra, Ghana. The aim of the event is to help underprivileged teenagers gain opportunities to study and play football abroad.
